Funds Raised to Date
More than 30 million persons worldwide are amputees with at least 40% children. What’s more chocking is that 70% of them do not have access to prosthetics because it is not available and accessible in most of third world countries and only 10% of them can afford robotic prosthetics because of a highly expensive. Moreover, children need a new limb every 12 months until growth complete.
In addition, in most African countries, there are not even a rehabilitation infrastructure for amputees.
We provide children with affordable bionic hands hands that are 3D printed,controlled by muscles, adjustable,looks like their biological hand with the privilege to add removable customization to it. We are also developing a virtual reality-based therapy platform for rehabilitation and training.
Finally, we will work with children to improve their skills by coaching them and by connecting them with partners that will help them go further with their dreams and ambitions.
Mission and Vision
We want to empower children with amputations to inspire the world. We do that by developing assistive, customized and performant bionic hands that enhance the human body and by making it more affordable.
We are a bionic startup; we aim to empower children to overcome their fears, upsets, lack of confidence to make them inspire the world. For that, we provide them with bionic hand which is 3D printed, stylish and sleek, controlled by muscles so no need for surgical intervention to implement it, easy to use, adjustable and recyclable so they can just 3D-reprint another hand easily, looks like their biological hand with the privilege to add removable customization to it like covers, LEDs, fashion details… We are also developing a virtual reality-based serious game that will allow children to play while going through rehabilitation and training and while having the opportunity to virtually customize their bionic hand. This kit will be composed of an EMG sensor (muscle sensor) and a VR headset and will allow both children in rural areas to have access to rehabilitation and doctors to have objective outcomes and follow in distance. This prosthetic is going to be the cheapest one in the regional market compared to any global solution within the bionic prosthetics and the price is going to be around the 2000 USD. For a long term vision, we dream to have the first world excellency center for people with disabilities where they can get what they need of technological solution, social and psychological assistance but most importantly a training for a year to learn skills and acquire more capacities to inspire the world and be the new super leaders of their countries.
Our prosthetics are affordable so more people and more specifically children will be impacted. Our prosthetics are customized so it will inspire more children to feel better and to inspire the world. Our Virtual reality platform for therapy is cheap, mobile and will be more efficient by allowing children to play while going through rehabilitation and training and while having the opportunity to virtually customize their bionic hand.
